25 years of its release, the iconic coming-of-age film about New York City skaters KIDS is now available to watch for free on Supreme’s website.
New York youth culture in the 90s is depicted in the rawest and most authentic ways and features skaters Justin Pierce and Harold Hunter as well as children Chloë Sevigny, Leo Fitzpatrick, Rosario Dawson, and Javier Nunez. Because of the movie’s short production budget, Clark filmed the actors in clothes they already owned, which were mostly Supreme branded. This shows a long history shared between the brand and the 1995 classic. The movie might still be considered controversial, because of its raw outlook on the era because of lots of debaucheries and hedonistic lifestyle included.
